Moi c'est "The Fall of Troy" par Tom Waits.
It's the same with men as with horses and dogs Nothing wants to die Ethel and James they killed in a game With guns too big for their hands Just off St. Charles in no man's land And you'll have to find your own way home, boys You'll have to find your own way home The oldest was Troy, an eighteen year old boy Shot dead in March in a robbery His brothers started out to hell and to ruin Troy's killer was never caught, they say Young Nick, he just went bad that day Now he'll have to find his own way home, boys He'll have to find his own way home Why cook dinner, why make my bed Why come home at all? Out the door and through the woods There's a world where nothing grows It's hard to say grace and to sit in the place Of someone missing at the table Mom's hair sprayed tight and her face in her hands Watching TV for answers to me After all she's only human And she's trying to find her own way home, boys She's trying to find her own way home My legs ache, my heart is sore The well is full of pennies Un vidéo fait sur la chanson http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6D0hXew4x1I&feature=related Cet homme là a une voix vraiment spéciale qui m'accroche le coeur. |

Alicia Keys - "Like You'll Never See Me Again"
If I had no more time No more time left to be here Would you cherish what we had? Was it everything that you were looking for? If I couldn't feel your touch And no longer were you with me I'd be wishing you were here To be everything that I'd be looking for I don't wanna forget the present is a gift And I don't wanna take for granted the time you may have here with me 'Cause Lord only knows another day is not really guaranteed So every time you hold me Hold me like this is the last time Every time you kiss me Kiss me like you'll never see me again Every time you touch me Touch me like this is the last time Promise that you'll love me Love me like you'll never see me again Oh Oh Oh How many really know what love is? Millions never will Do you know until you lose it That it's everything that we are looking for When I wake up in the morning You're beside me I'm so thankful that I found Everything that I been looking for I don't wanna forget the present is a gift And I don't wanna take for granted the time you may have here with me 'Cause Lord only knows another day is not really guaranteed So everytime you hold me Hold me like this is the last time Every time you kiss me Kiss me like you'll never see me again (can you do that for me baby) Every time you touch me (see we don't really know) Touch me like this is the last time (see everyday we never know) Promise that you'll love me (I want you to promise me) Love me like you'll never see me again (like you'll never see me again) |

Last kiss de Pearl Jam
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u0B-hJ_gotc&feature=related ''...Oh, where oh where can my baby be? The Lord took her away from me She's gone to heaven, so I got to be good So I can see my baby when I leave this world. ... I lifted her head, she looked at me and said "Hold me darling just a little while." I held her close, I kissed her our last kiss I found the love that I knew I would miss But now she's gone, even though I hold her tight I lost my love, my life that night...'' J'adore cette chanson! |
